MA Student, Saint Paul University Ottawa

William Jackson-Monroe is a first-year student in the Master of Arts in Counselling and Spirituality program at Saint Paul University.

He has been a reservist with the Canadian Armed Forces, which sparked his interest in Canada-led peace operations and the well-being of veterans.

William volunteers as a crisis responder and at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario.

William is particularly passionate about supporting persons suffering from substance use challenges and trauma, including researching the impact this has on public safety personnel and veterans. In his spare time, William enjoys training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, playing basketball, or in the outdoors.
